Marie first began working with the CBDP team when she joined King’s College London’s Neuroimaging department in January 2018.
Marie’s research revolves around gaining a better understanding of emotion regulation and social cognition in populations with psychiatric conditions, with a specific focus on autism, mood disorders, complex PTSD (childhood abuse/neglect) and learning disabilities.
Marie mainly uses a combination of clinical psychology and neuroscience approaches with a view to refining assessments and therapeutic interventions in the context of clinical and educational services (i.e., NHS, schools, and charities).
